Tour der Hoffnung 2017 at Transumed Berlin

Almost 200 cyclists, escorted by police units, turned into the Jägerstraße in Berlin-Mitte on the morning of August 4 and were received with pleasure by TRANSUMED. The cyclists who started at the 34th “Tour of Hope” were welcome by Dr. Bassam Helou and his team of TRANSUMED in the courtyard of the company’s headquarters in Berlin and were handed over a donation check of 5000 euros. There the cyclists, who had previously made stops at the Federal Chancellery, were able to strengthen themselves with healthy snacks and drinks for the next stage. At the start of this charitable cycle tour, which started traditionally in Giessen and then toured the capital and Brandenburg for three days, were renowned representatives from sports, politics, business and medicine. The successful biathlete Petra Behle is patron of the tour. The captain of the rider field is the multiple cyclist cross-country world champion Klaus Peterthaler from Gevelsberg. For spectacular parachute skydives on these cyclist days, ex-world champion Eberhard Gienger (MdB) and the world champion in parachute jumping, Klaus Renz.
