In the immediate vicinity of the government district and Berlin’s main railway station, the Lehrter Campus is being built directly at Invalidenstraße, a new office building that is intended to draw lessons from the pandemic crisis. This is a response to new challenges and offers users a solid platform for their business activities in the post-Covid-19 era.
The building project consists of a basement, two basement storeys, six full storeys (2nd – 7th floor) and a recessed staggered storey (8th floor). The central road between buildings MK1 and MK2 runs above the basement of building MK2. Both buildings form an ensemble and are subject to the same design requirements under building law.
Both the possibility of single- and multi-party letting is given.
A special feature is the floor plan orientation with pandemic reference.
Measures for user safety range from increased lift capacities, contactless access controls, staircase cores with a smart building-ready IT backbone to toilet facilities with window sashes that can be opened individually.
